Step into Mrs. Walker's World on the Web. Mrs. Walker teaches Psychology IB, World and European History at Newbury Park High School, Newbury Park, California. This site also supports technology workshops and presentations sponsored by VCOE / CTAP. WELCOME NPHS students and parents to Mrs. Walker's web resource for the 2007-2008 academic year at Newbury Park High School. Many things you need to know for Mrs. Walker's European/World History AP/Honors and Psychology IB classes can be found here including daily agendas, homework and due dates, archived agendas and grades. You will also find contact, schedule and biographical information for Mrs. Walker. This website is updated regularly, sometimes hourly, as changes come about throughout the instructional day. Students enrolled in European/World History AP/Honors will find the term one project 2009 here. Getting a good start during the summer prepares students for the class and makes the work load at the beginning of the school year easier to manage. Fall 2008 Back-to-School Presentation. EUROPEAN & WORLD HISTORY AP/HONORS Term One Project 2009 European and World History classes are year-long and alternate days. Use the menu bar to check the agenda for Subterm 1-1, Subterm 1-2, Subterm 2-1 and Subterm 2-2. Grades are updated regularly and can be checked online through Zangle. Assignments and abridged chapters from History of the Modern World are available in pdf format and can be downloaded for student use. The free Adobe Reader is required to access pdf documents. Other class information can be accessed through the European History homepage. PSYCHOLOGY IB Psychology IB is a year-long class meeting on alternating days. The course will cover the skills and topics outlined in the course syllabus. Use the menu bar to check the agenda by subterms - Subterm 1-1, Subterm 1-2, Subterm 2-1 and Subterm 2-2. Homework assignments and due dates are noted on the agenda. Grades are updated regularly and can be checked online through Zangle.
